Rupe rečinske village
In an attractive location on Mount Bjelasica, near the Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600 ski resorts, a unique eco katun is currently being developed in the village of Rupe Rečinske.
This destination, developed by Eco Travel Kolašin, a branch of the company Kubura-promet, aims to become a must-visit spot for all travelers seeking active holidays in nature, offering a genuine blend of tradition and authentic life on Montenegrin mountain pastures (katuns).
What We Plan to Offer
🏡 Accommodation in Wooden Eco-Lodges
Several traditional-style wooden buildings have already been constructed, providing comfortable stays in harmony with the natural surroundings.
🐎 Horseback Riding Tours
Adapted mountain trails will allow guests to enjoy guided horseback riding tours and explore the surrounding landscapes on horseback.
🚙 Jeep Safari Adventures
We plan to organize off-road tours to the most impressive viewpoints and scenic areas of Kljuc and Bjelasica, offering a true mountain adventure.
🍞 Traditional Cuisine & Local Workshops
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in the preparation and tasting of homemade bread, cheese, kaymak (cream), and other regional specialties.
🌿 Insight into Traditional Highland Life
We will showcase how people on the katuns once lived: how they fetched water, heated their homes, raised livestock, and lived in complete harmony with nature.
Our Mission
The goal of this project is to preserve the spirit of Montenegrin katuns and offer visitors a chance to experience a way of life that is rarely seen today — genuine, simple, and rich in human values.
Every activity is thoughtfully designed to meet the expectations of today’s traveler, while remaining deeply rooted in the authentic culture and traditions of the local highlands.

Although still in development, Eco Katun Rupe Rečinske has already been included in the official programs of the Tourism Organization of Kolašin and the agency Kolašin Eco Travel.
