Katun Rupe recinske – the base of our tour – is located beneath the mighty cliffs of Bjelasica. Throughout the year, it offers a unique experience of mountain life, peace, silence, and genuine local hospitality.
At the katun, you’ll meet our animals: sheep, lambs, goats, horses, dogs, and more. Visitors can feed them, pet them, take photos, and learn what real mountain life looks like. Children especially love this part.
Wooden cabins, perfectly in harmony with nature, offer shelter, rest, and a place to enjoy a traditional local snack. The tour includes a complimentary mountain sip and bite – homemade cheese, cream, prosciutto, priganice, honey, natural juice, and rakija. Here, food is enjoyed with heart – and with a view you’ll never forget.
