The Tara River, the longest river in Montenegro (144 km), originates beneath Mount Komovi and joins with the Piva River at Šćepan Polje to form the Drina. Tara is world-renowned for its breathtaking canyon — 78 km long with cliffs over 1300 meters high — making it the deepest canyon in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

Route: Camp „Kapija Kanjona“ – Radovan Luka
Length: 50 km
Duration: Minimum 7 hours on the river
